INIAP, in coordination with the Quisapincha Parish Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) and Project FIASA-DITT-2024-023, organized a training, experience-sharing, and technology transfer event with producers, facilitators, and local stakeholders.

During the event, progress on project ATN-RF-21534-RG, “Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Potato–Pasture Systems in Ecuador and Peru,” was presented, highlighting research activities aimed at evaluating management practices that contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving the sustainability of Andean production systems.

The event included the participation of representatives of trained producers, as well as a tour of technological and demonstration stands, where knowledge, experiences, and management alternatives applicable to agricultural production systems were shared.

This event helped strengthen the link between research, technology transfer, and local territories, promoting knowledge exchange to advance toward more sustainable and resilient production systems.
