The Seed Fund, led by AGROSAVIA with Costa Rica’s INTA as co-executing partner, set out to help researchers, farmers and technicians monitor conditions inside protected structures in real time and make better management decisions. Panama’s IDIAP and the University of Florida, as international advisor, also joined. Protected agriculture lets farmers move from open fields to more productive systems with better quality and less climate vulnerability.
