The project is scaling up six management technologies and has documented seven practices in training materials and videos. They include timely bagging of banana bunches, recording rejected fruit by cause, nutrient balancing, and strategic placement of plant residues and fertilizers. With these practices, growers produce more than 500 additional boxes of bananas per hectare per year, with better-quality fruit and healthier soils.
