Trials conducted by INTA Mendoza confirmed that these systems allow for increased production on smaller areas, reduced water usage, and sustained production with greater efficiency in input use and predictability. Controlling the environment, light, and irrigation improves the nutritional quality of differentiated foods adapted to market demands. This international research is part of a FONTAGRO project.
