From October 2 to 4, 2017, INIA’s La Estanzuela Experimental Station in Colonia, Uruguay, hosted the regional workshop “Use of legumes in livestock systems.” Specialists from INTA Argentina, Embrapa (Brazil), INIA Chile, IPTA (Paraguay), INIA Uruguay, INIAP (Ecuador), INTA Nicaragua and IDIAF (Dominican Republic) took part, together with PROCISUR and FONTAGRO. The meeting provided a space for dialogue and training on the sustainable intensification of grazing-based livestock farming.
