The 25th anniversary celebration, driven by FONTAGRO’s knowledge management and communication strategy, brought together the Board of Directors, ambassadors and representatives of IICA, the IDB, CGIAR, FAO, CSIC, AECID, IRTA, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Madrid. Over three days, participants presented advances in climate resilience, new technologies such as gene editing and agtech, and solutions for sustainable, agroecological Agriculture 4.0. Anniversary panels discussed lessons from international cooperation and FONTAGRO’s outreach to Europe and the world. At the close, the Excellence Award recognized the project led by AGROSAVIA with Peru and the Dominican Republic. The anniversary also included commemorative videos and a dedicated landing page.
