Annual preventive and corrective maintenance was conducted on the project’s IoT network in Colombia, Honduras, and Ecuador, ensuring the operability of soil moisture, dendrometry, and meteorological monitoring stations across lime, avocado, cacao, and papaya crops. Activities included electronic maintenance, general cleaning, memory backup and formatting, verification of batteries, solar panels, connectors, and sensors, as well as repair of damage caused by field conditions and agricultural operations. Additionally, communication infrastructure was optimized through repeater adjustments, coverage validation, and stability testing, strengthening data transmission continuity, network performance, and the overall reliability of the monitoring system.
