Hub SmartFruit-ALC is a regional innovation platform led by Universidad de La Frontera (Chile). Co-executing partners are Universidad de Costa Rica, INIA Chile, the University of Buenos Aires and Universidad de Talca. Cooperatives such as Loncofrut, Coopecerroazul and Coopeparrita Tropical have also joined, along with INDAP and software and training companies. The Hub promotes knowledge transfer and new AgTech solutions to help family fruit growers adapt to climate change.
