With the support of FONTAGRO, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), Global Methane Hub, ACA, and GMA, INIA Uruguay began evaluating irrigation management options designed to reduce methane emissions without compromising yield.

The research centers on the challenge of turning emission reductions into a tangible return for the sector.
