The Seed Fund, with an investment of USD 118,236 (USD 30,000 from FONTAGRO), brought together INTA Argentina with CIPAV, AGROSAVIA, Patrimonio Natural and CIAT in Colombia. Costa Rica’s INTA, the Dominican Republic’s IDIAF, Panama’s IDIAP and Ecuador’s INIAP later joined. The network works across very diverse territories: Traslasierra (Córdoba), the Jujuy Puna, the Patagonian steppe of Río Negro, the Amazon foothills of Caquetá, La Vega (Dominican Republic), Bolívar (Ecuador) and Puntarenas (Costa Rica).
