ActiveFONTAGRO, as an agricultural innovation fund, seeks to strengthen its impact in the face of global challenges such as climate change, food security, and disruptive technologies. The updated Medium-Term Plan (MTP) 2025-2030 incorporates prospective analyses, performance indicators, and strategic alliance models, ensuring alignment with regional needs and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The MTP emphasizes innovative approaches, such as open science and co-creation, promoting the sustainability and relevance of its projects. The Knowledge Management and Communication Plan (KM&C) is updated with an approach that integrates artificial intelligence, strengthening the dissemination of results, impact assessment, and collaboration within the agri-food system. Its four strategic pillars—regional space, innovation, impact and evaluation, and external communication—aim to position FONTAGRO as a leader in open science and transfer technologies to stakeholders in the agri-food system, maximizing its visibility and contribution to the 2030 Agenda.
This project actively contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, promoting more equitable, resilient, and sustainable regional development.
