Project: FONTAGRO Knowledge Management Phase III
Technological-Organizational-InstitutionalKnowledge ManagementStrategicWith support from the Knowledge Partnership Korea Fund for Technology and Innovation (KPK), FONTAGRO advanced the third phase of its knowledge management strategy, aiming to bring research results closer to family farming in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The partnership between FONTAGRO and South Korea’s KPK began in 2009 and is now in its third phase, with an investment of USD 205,000. KPK contributes USD 100,000, and FONTAGRO provides USD 45,000 in cash and USD 60,000 in kind. The project aims to bring technological innovations to researchers, extension workers, farmers and decision-makers, within the new digital environment of agriculture 4.0.
