FONTAGRO is pleased to announce the XX Annual Technical Follow-up Workshop: Connecting Science, Technology, and Agriculture – Driving Innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean.

This event, which will take place from July 1-3 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, will bring together science and innovation to address the challenges facing the agricultural sector in our region and seek innovative and effective solutions.

Thanks to the support of the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and the Dominican Institute for Agricultural and Forestry Research (IDIAFRD), we will present the progress of 24 projects that have received a total co-financing of $21.1 million.

These projects span 18 countries and involve collaboration with 122 organizations dedicated to developing innovative R&D solutions to strengthen agri-food systems.

Participating organizations include: INTA – Argentina, INIAF – Bolivia, INIA – Chile, AGROSAVIA – Colombia, INTA – Costa Rica, INIAP – Ecuador, INIA – Spain, DICTA – Honduras, INTA – Nicaragua, IDIAP – Panama, IPTA – Paraguay, INIA – Peru, IDIAF – Dominican Republic, INIA – Uruguay, and INIA – Venezuela.
