On August 7th, Eugenia Saini, Executive Secretary of FONTAGRO, participated in the Aapresid Congress, a key international event that has been connecting innovation, technology, and knowledge to create sustainable production systems for over three decades.

Eugenia had the honor of participating in the panel titled: Where is the focus of international funding?, where she addressed the future of international financing for agriculture and sustainable development, alongside distinguished experts:

- Eugenio Diaz-Bonilla, Special Advisor at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA)

- Julia Iurlina, Regional Manager for the Southern Cone at Latimpacto

- Carmine Paolo De Salvo, Lead Specialist in Rural Development at the Inter-American Development Bank

- Moderator: Pedro Vigneau, Former President of Aapresid

In her address, Saini highlighted the challenge of strengthening public-private investment in #LAC and how to connect our regional priorities with global financing opportunities for innovation, sustainability, and agricultural transformation.
