Innovations in ICTs for beekeeping

The purpose of the project was to make a proposal for the implementation of ICTs for the beekeeping sector, given that there is potential for their implementation in order to improve competitiveness. For this, the following areas of intervention were proposed: a) registration of processes / traceability; formalization of producers; b) beehive monitoring; c) geopositioning. The project contemplates a systemic approach, taking into account that different public and private organizations must participate. It is expected that highly competitive agribusiness systems for the production and export of honey can be developed, based on meeting demand requirements, reducing costs and improving the productivity of the hive.
