This webinar led by FONTAGRO, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) – Argentina, the National University of Loja (UNL) – Ecuador, the National Agrarian University La Molina (UNALM) – Peru, the Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA) – Chile, the Austral University of Chile (UACH), and the University of Talca (UTALCA) – Chile, aims to share how these organizations propose a sustainable management of irrigation and fertilization in quinoa.
Key software tools will be discussed to understand the responses to water and yields, as well as a Fertilization Calculator to estimate nitrogen requirements. These tools will be freely available on the websites of the participating institutions, with training provided to farmers, agronomists, technicians, and students.
