(Washington, D.C., October 4, 2016) Today registration opened for FONTAGRO’s first Online Course: Preparing Competitive Proposals for Agricultural Innovation and Research Projects – FONTAGRO Case.
This online learning experience will enable participants to design competitive proposals for innovation and research projects that will be conceptualized and structured to be useful in calls for proposals carried out by FONTAGRO, as well as other national and international organizations.
The online course is aimed at professionals from government agencies and nongovernmental organizations in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain, who are responsible for research and innovation in the agricultural sector and wish to build their capacities for drafting project proposals, particularly for projects funded by FONTAGRO.
One of this course’s main objectives is to provide participants with the opportunity to work on platforms with professionals and colleagues from other member countries.
Within the framework of its capacity-building strategy, FONTAGRO, together with the Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development (INDES), has developed this online course, which was designed in a Moodle platform and will be guided by a tutor. It includes interactive quizzes, activities that will be assessed by the tutor or other participants, and forums on which participants will be able to communicate with the tutor.
