On July 14, at the Experimental Station of the Animal Production Center of the IDIAF, Dominican Republic, a Technical Seminar on the Results of Greenhouse Gases Emitted from the Soil with Grazing Tropical Pasture was held. This activity was organized by the Project Planning and Monitoring unit of the Dominican Institute for Agricultural and Forestry Research (IDIAF). It was led by Dr. Gregorio Garcia Lagombra, director of the Animal Production Center and coordinator of the Gases Project, and included the participation of the executive director, directors of research and planning, and IDIAF researchers.
During the session, results of studies on N2O and CH4 emissions from tropical pastures used for grazing in the Dominican Republic were discussed. Participation was given to those present through spaces for questions and discussions.
