A fair was held in Andacollo to market products from family farming
Promoted by the INTA Chos Malal Extension Agency and financed by FONTAGRO and INTA, a producers' fair was held in the town of Andacollo, province of Neuquén, to market family farming products.
One of the objectives of the FONTAGRO project "Innovation and intensification for adaptation to climate change in family livestock farming" is to link the products generated in these family production systems to regional markets through short marketing circuits.
The fair was attended by smallholders families with demonstrating farms en the the project, as well as by other regional farmers and local fair vendors from the towns of Andacollo and Huinganco.
This activity was broadcast by Radio Nacional Chos Malal and through social networks, which resulted in a large request for information and exchanges of experiences among family farmers.
