HLB (Huanglongbing) is the most destructive disease among citrus. Its prevention is based on the use of healthy material, constant monitoring of the crop, intense control of vector insect. Early identification of the infected plant and its elimination is crucial.

In order to succeed in the mitigation of the disease, FONTAGROs project "Sustainable control of the HLB vector in Family Farming in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia" works on different components. The first of these is the control of the HLB vector in a context of local adaptation of integrated management, through the installation of 17 demonstration lots and conventional lots in family farms. This video shows the field work carried out by INTA Concordia professionals, regarding this objective, in the farm of a citrus grower from La Criolla, Concordia Department, Entre Ríos, Argentina.
