Biography

He was born in the city of Buenos Aires in 1981. He studied at the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Buenos Aires. He graduated as an Agronomist in 2006. Later, he was a member of the Chair of Ecology and beneficiary of a CONICET doctoral fellowship through which he used remote sensors to estimate forage supply and to describe variations in forage productivity at different spatial scales. He obtained his PhD in 2013.

He joined INTA Concepción del Uruguay in 2011 as a researcher in the forages group in the area of ??animal production. His topics of interest focus on the development of tools that facilitate management decision-making in livestock systems. These tools are based either on functional aspects of the dominant forage species of natural grasslands, or on the evaluation and monitoring of forage resources by remote sensing.

Participates in projects financed by Science and Technology organizations. The results of his research have been published in magazines, conferences, courses and conferences. He has directed and co-directed graduate thesis. He has also evaluated research projects and articles in various scientific journals. He is currently editor of the Revista de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (RIA).
