Biography

My work is oriented to the effect of land use on soil properties, especially in studies of soil organic carbon dynamics. I have carried out studies on transitions from natural ecosystems to agroecosystems of forestations and subtropical pastures and their integration as silvopastoral systems. I am currently evaluating soil management alternatives for pure agricultural systems or integrated into the livestock sector, mainly associated with the management of winter cover crops and crop rotations.
