Biography

I am a Plant Pathologist. I work in integrated plant disease management in crops. I had experience in research plant disease resistance evaluation, efficacy fungicide trials, plant disease management, genetic diversity and plant disease diagnosis. I had experience witn Black Sigatoka, Moko, Soft rot of the rizome, Crown rot and Panama disease of banana and plantain; Withces' Broom, Frosty Pod Rot, Black Pod Rot, Ceratocystis Wilt and Lasidiplodia in cocoa; Corn Stunt; Soybean Rust; Green, Blue and Whisker Molds of citrus; Potato Late Blight; Grain dicoloration, Shealth rot among other in rice. I was lecturer of Plant Pathology for undergraduates. Additionally, I had given speeches about integrated plant disease managemnt for farmers, student and profesionals in Ecuador and abroad. Nowadays, I work in the National Program of Banana, Plantain and other Musaceae of INIAP.
