Biography

Agricultural engineer, master's and doctorate in agricultural sciences with an emphasis on genetic improvement of plants, 25 years of work in Corpoica, Agrosavia in the areas of transitory crops such as corn, of which 7 genotypes have been commercially released; in pastures and forages 2 commercial guinea genotypes; has evaluated the production and management potential of a large number of forage grasses that are adapted to the low tropics. He recently organized and contributed to the commercial release of the Panicum Agrosavia Sabanera grass, of great nutritional quality and high forage production. Extensive experience in forage conservation programs and production of basic and certified corn and sorghum seeds at a commercial level. Participation in courses and lecturer in countries such as Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Honduras.
