Biography

Deputy Director - Center for Tropical Agricultural Research "CIAT", Bolivia.

Daniel Ardaya Bernal was born on July 21, 1956 in Riberalta - Beni, Bolivia.

Agricultural Engineer trained by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the UAGRM, (1985).

He obtained a Diploma in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture, Higher Institute of Havana-Cuba (1997). Specialist in improvement of perennial fruit and industrial crops. JICA-EMBRAPA-CPAC, Brasilia-DF, Brazil (1994).
