Constantly working on the development of components and alternatives for integrated pest management (IPM) with emphasys in biological control to reduce pesticide use, environmental pollution and protect farmer health improvement. Strongly experience in developing research, project management, monitoring and training of farmers on IPM. With experience at the International Potato Center (CIP) supervising and supporting scientists, students and NARs to implement project activities as well as training actions to increase capacities and human capital skills in the Andean region. Up to date, my research concern is related to develop environmentally-sound pest management strategies based on manipulating the self-regulating capacity of agro-ecosystems through conservation and augmentation strategies for pests’ natural antagonists and biopesticides approaches.
