Biography

Agricultural Engineer, with a Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences with an emphasis on Plant Breeding, candidate for a PhD in Agricultural Sciences. With more than 24 years of professional experience in the formulation and execution of projects in: technology transfer for small and medium producers in the Colombian Andean region, plant genetic resources for their evaluation and use, genetic improvement of potato and branch onion tending to release varieties with yield potential, tolerance to insect pests, processing attributes and fresh consumption. All projects developed under the participatory research approach. School training through the direction and co-direction of degree thesis.
