Biography

Professor of the Faculty of Sciences, Department of Chemistry of the University of Tolima, since 2005. Doctor in Chemistry-Sciences of the University of Lleida- Spain, where he obtained the extraordinary award: Best doctoral thesis in Experimental Sciences, University from Lleida in 2007. Director of the research group on natural products - GIPRONUT -Category A Colciencias, Senior Researcher, Manager of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Department of Tolima, National Councilor of Colciencias. He has held positions of university management, director of the doctorate in agricultural sciences, has directed undergraduate, master's and doctoral theses, and has published 7 books and 48 articles in specialized magazines.
