Biography

An Agronomist graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at UNNE, Corrientes (2003). He joined in 2004 as a Training Fellow in the Entomology Laboratory of the Bella Vista Agricultural Experimental Station of INTA, Corrientes, Argentina. He pursued his postgraduate studies and obtained a Master’s degree in Entomology from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Miguel Lillo Institute at the National University of Tucumán (2009).

He is a specialist in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for Citrus and Vegetables under plastic cover in Corrientes. His main research activity focuses on natural enemies and the effects of active substances on beneficial organisms. He is responsible for the Biofactory of Tamarixia radiata, the main biological control agent of Diaphorina citri in Corrientes, Argentina.

He serves as Alternate Leader and Component 1 Manager of the Fontagro Project (2018 Call) ATN/RF-17232-RG "Sustainable Control of the Huanglongbing (HLB) Vector in Family Agriculture in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia." He is also a participant in international projects (Cyted, Procisur, Pérez Guerrero), national projects (PICT), and INTA's project portfolio. Additionally, he is an advisor for the Biocontrol Program in Peppers and Tomatoes at INTA in the province of Corrientes.
