Biography

A specialist in research in the fields of in vitro culture, biotechnology applied to tissue culture, germplasm conservation, cryopreservation, and plant genetic transformation. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Biotechnology Laboratory at the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE).

In addition to her research work, she teaches key areas such as biotechnology, tissue culture, and conservation, actively contributing to the education of the next generation of scientists and professionals in these fields.
