Biography

Forest Engineer from the University of Chile. With more than 20 years of experience as a researcher at the Forestry Institute, where he has specialized in the execution and direction of various genetic improvement programs in native and exotic forest species.

Author of about 100 technical and dissemination publications in the field of genetic improvement; registration of the first clones of a forest species as a protected plant variety, generating breeder's rights for INFOR on said clones; He is a member of the Editorial Committee of the Forestry Science and Research Journal and has been awarded the Distinction Faculty of Forestry Sciences of the University of Chile and the Award for Academic Excellence granted by the College of Forest Engineers.
