I am a researcher at INTA, where I have been developing my professional activities since 1993 (as a CONICET scholar and then at the CIC). I applied to the Young Project Contest, through which I joined the institution, and later advanced to Temporary Staff and then Permanent Staff positions. I have been a researcher at the Institute of Biological Resources since 1997 in the Molecular Markers Laboratory. My specialty is Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology. I have experience in the characterization of different species at the genetic and genomic level, especially those species of regional importance for food, aromatic, condiment and/or medicinal use, many underutilized, called “orphan crops” or “NUS” (Neglected or Underutilized Species).
I have served as the lead for Institutional Research Projects (INTA) and other organizations (SEPCyT). I am in charge of the training of human resources such as undergraduate and graduate thesis, interns and laboratory interns. I have also collaborated in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
