Cornelio Contreras is an Agricultural Engineer and regional coordinator of Territorial Technology Transfer programs at INIA Intihuasi. He coordinates Technology Transfer Groups and projects financed by the Ministry of Agriculture. He is in charge of the Center for Technological Transfer in Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture for Norte Chico and agreements with CNR and Indap for the promotion and strengthening of irrigation management. He is director or alternate director of three projects financed by the Regional Government of Coquimbo, FIA, associated with improving the efficiency in the use of irrigation water in vegetables and goats. He advises on univariate and multivariate statistical analysis. He is a speaker at training talks, courses, seminars and conferences. Author of informative and scientific publications.
