He is currently working as a master researcher at AGROSAVIA, C.I. Palmira, where he works in research and production of fruit species such as Citrus, Avocado, Yellow Pitaya and Passion Fruit. His work is oriented towards the generation of technological bases for the assurance of genetic, physiological and phytosanitary quality of propagation material in fruit trees, where the areas of biotechnology are articulated in molecular characterization of phytogenetic resources and standardization of techniques for molecular diagnosis of diseases with the production of plant material under protected conditions and seed conservation. He participated in citrus improvement projects, evaluating promising materials as part of the strategy to increase the varietal supply in Colombia. He has participated in teaching activities in the area of plant reproduction and multiplication.
