Dr. Liliana Rios is an agricultural engineer from the National University of Colombia, Master in Hydraulic Resources Engineering, National University of Colombia and Doctor in Agricultural Sciences, mention in plant physiology with an emphasis on water relations of crops, developed in the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She has worked in the environmental area with environmental management projects at the National University of Colombia, the Valle del Cauca Corporation (CVC, Cali Valle) and the Valle de Aburrá Metropolitan Area (Medellín, Antioquia). Since 2008 and up to the present, she is linked as a researcher to the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation - AGROSAVIA, formulating and developing research projects focused on the water relations of fruit crops. Currently she has the role of delegated principal investigator (IPD) in the macro research project for the pineapple species. She also participates in the training of professionals and new researchers in the area of ??water relations and management of water and soil resources for sustainable production.
