Carolina Frías is an Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy and Agroindustries of the National University of Santiago del Estero. She is a researcher at INTA-EEA Santiago del Estero, in irrigation and soil management in agricultural productions. She is part of the Natural Resources Working Group, of which she is currently the Head of the group. She worked as an extension officer between 2007-2016, in the Rural Extension Agency of INTA in Fernández where she worked together with farmers and associations linked to irrigation and in the Río Dulce Irrigation System Unit (state agency in charge of the Río Dulce Irrigation System) between 2005 and 2007, where she was part of the technical team in charge of controlling and improving the collective irrigation service distribution system. She is a lecturer at the Faculty of Agronomy and Agroindustries, National University of Santiago del Estero. She is a pursuing a master's degree in Irrigation and Drainage at the National University of Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina.
