Felipe Montealegre Bustos is an economist graduated from the Universidad del Tolima and holds a Master's degree in Economics of Natural Resources and the Environment from the Universidad de Concepción - Chile. He has a solid theoretical and practical background in economic research, especially in the socioeconomic area, environmental economics, natural resource economics and economic valuation. In Chile and Colombia he has worked as a professor in several universities and researcher in projects funded by public and private entities of national and international order. Since 2018 he is part of the research team of Agrosavia (Corporación Colombiana de Investigación Agropecuaria), in the Research Center La Suiza, in which he is part of Red Cacao and participates in research processes related to crops such as cocoa, fruit trees and family agriculture.
