Daniel Bravo is a PhD in Geomicrobiology, with experience in microbial bioenergetics and biocalorimetry, graduated from the University of Neuenburg in Switzerland. Daniel made a post-doc at Giessen University in Germany. Daniel is a biologist from the University of Nariño in Pasto, Colombia. Daniel has more than 19 years of experience working in bioremediation of contaminated environments and has addressed several projects of remediation in both water and terrestrial ecosystems. He has study microorganisms affecting a biogeochemical pathway of carbon sequestration in neotropical regions such as Bolivia, Cameroon and India. Since 2014 Daniel works in AGROSAVIA – Colombia, within the cacao network, seeking for the cadmium issue in cacao crops. Daniel is the manager of Cd- related projects in Colombia and has the role of coordinator of component 1 within the project Plataforma Multiagencia Cacao 2030-2050. Daniel study the origin and distribution of Cd using geophysics and geomicrobiology for bioremediation purposes.
