Laura Ramírez has a master's degree in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development, graduated from the University of Costa Rica with experience in knowledge management, rural extension and climate change. Agricultural engineer with 20 years of experience in technology transfer and knowledge management processes. Since 2002, she has been the head of the INTA Technology Transfer Department, where she is the director of the Scientific Journal “Alcances Tecnológicos” and of the Editorial Committee that coordinates institutional publications. Instructor and facilitator in training activities and promotion of entrepreneurship in groups of producers, women and young people with an emphasis on management and conservation of natural resources. Coordinates the PLATICAR Platform and the RELASER Costa Rica Forum of the Latin American Network of Rural Extension Services (RELASER). Coordinates national and international projects in the development of skills in technicians and producers in climate change and knowledge management.
