PhD in Chemistry, Master’s in Nutrition and Agri-valorization, and PhD in Advanced Techniques for Agrarian and Agri-food Research. Received specialized training in Brazil, France, and Spain in nutritional quality, functionality, and food safety, primarily focused on fruit crops, cacao, and coffee. Agricultural researcher in the Department of Nutrition and Quality at INIAP since 2006, and accredited by SENECYT since 2015 as a researcher authorized to conduct scientific research. Head of the Department of Nutrition and Quality since February 2018 and Head of the Soils, Plants, and Water Laboratory since November 2019. Experience in developing, participating in, and leading nationally and internationally funded research projects focused on characterizing key components of physical, chemical, and functional quality along the value chain; adding value to products; ensuring food quality and safety; and certifying the origin of agricultural export commodities. Author and co-author of 27 scientific publications in recognized journals, conference proceedings, scientific reports, among others. Invited speaker at national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and meetings. Facilitator and presenter at technical meetings, seminars, workshops, and courses.
