Jorge L. Andrade-Piedra (j.andrade@cgiar.org) es científico senior del Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP) en Lima, Perú. Posee un doctorado en Fitopatología de la Universidad de Cornell, una maestría en Fitopatología de la Universidad La Molina en Lima y una licenciatura en Agronomía (con altos honores) de la Universidad Central en Quito. Realizó estudios posdoctorales en el CIP. Jorge tiene más de 20 años de experiencia en investigación y desarrollo con pequeños productores de papa en los Andes y en varios países de África y Asia. En 2023, se desempeñó como director del programa de Sistemas Agroalimentarios del CIP. Cuenta con una amplia experiencia en el trabajo con equipos multiculturales en entornos desafiantes, colaborando con socios de organizaciones internacionales, gubernamentales y no gubernamentales, así como del sector privado.
