Jorge L. Andrade-Piedra (j.andrade.cgiar.org) is a as senior scientist at the International Potato Center (CIP by its Spanish acronym) in Lima, Peru. He holds a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Cornell University, M.Sc. in Plant Pathology from La Molina University in Lima, B.Sc. in Agronomy (high honors) from Central University in Quito. Post-doctorate studies in CIP. Jorge has more than 20 years of experience in research and development with small-scale potato farmers in the Andes and in several countries in Africa and Asia. He served as director of CIP’s Potato Agri-Food Systems program in 2023.
