Agricultural engineer with a PhD in Agricultural Sciences, specializing in Genetics and Plant Breeding, graduate of the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP), Argentina. Expert in potato genetics and breeding. Coordinates the Potato Research Group at the Estación Experimental Agropecuaria (EEA) INTA Balcarce, Argentina and coordinates the National Potato Genetic Improvement Plan (INTA) and the National Project (INTA) for the genetic improvement of vegetables, ornamentals, aromatics, and medicinal plants based on the market, within a context of sustainable intensification and climate change. Directs a Research Project at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FCA) UNMDP and teaches at the same institution as the Head of Practical Works for the subjects of Genetics and Potato Cultivation (undergraduate level). Professor of Quantitative Genetics at the postgraduate level and a member of the potato technical committee at the National Seed Institute (INASE).
