Juan Clariget is an Agronomist with a specialization in agricultural-livestock systems from the Faculty of Agronomy at the Universidad de la República, Uruguay (2006-2011). In 2015, he earned a master's degree in agricultural sciences, specializing in animal science, from the Universidad de la República, Uruguay. He is currently in the final stage of his Ph.D. in the Health & Agricultural Sciences program at University College Dublin, Ireland.
Since 2013, Juan has been working at the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA) based at INIA La Estanzuela. He is an associate researcher in the field of beef production, focusing on nutrition and management. Over the years, he has published more than 60 papers in various media, including peer-reviewed scientific journals, conferences, magazines, and newspapers, of which 20 are articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
