Biography

Alejandro Valeiro is a retired associate researcher at INTA (National Institute of Agricultural Technology) in Argentina. He joined INTA in 1988 and coordinated the LABINTEX-Europe project.

His current area of work involves connecting various departments and specialties within INTA with R&D institutions across European countries. Valeiro's extensive experience at INTA includes:

- **Technology Transfer**: He began his career focusing on technology transfer in extension services.
- **Coordination Roles**: He coordinated all teams from the Extension Agencies in Santiago del Estero province and later led the research area at the Famaillá Experimental Station in Tucumán.
- **Project Coordination**: He has managed national and international research and transfer projects.
- **National Program Coordination**: Before his current international role, he coordinated the National Program for Industrial Crops.

Valeiro's contributions have significantly impacted agricultural research and technology transfer in Argentina.
