Biography

Facundo Oddi is a Forest Engineer (National University of La Plata, Argentina) and holds a Ph.D. in Biology (National University of Comahue, Argentina). He is an Associate Professor at the National University of Río Negro (UNRN), where he teaches courses in Applied Statistics. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Environmental Engineering program at UNRN.

Facundo is also a researcher with the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), based at the Institute of Natural Resources, Agroecology, and Rural Development (IRNAD, UNRN-CONICET). His research focuses on the sustainability of productive landscapes, both agricultural and forestry, with an emphasis on spatial modeling. He has expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing tools, which he applies to landscape design and analysis, as well as to the assessment of ecosystem services, aiming to integrate ecological principles with practical land-use strategies.
