Diego Ortiz is an agronomist who graduated from the National University of Córdoba. He earned his master's degree in Plant Production at the University of Mar del Plata and his Ph.D. in Plant Breeding at Iowa State University (USA). He is currently in charge of the sorghum breeding program at INTA, where he leads research activities and the training of human resources. His main interests include identifying traits associated with stress tolerance (cold, drought, and salinity) and evaluating and developing new sorghum cultivars adapted to Argentine environments.
