Biography

Agricultural Engineer (2012) graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, Dr. Ignacio Hisse holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences (2020) and a specialization in Plant Breeding (2023) from the University of Buenos Aires. He also completed a specialization in Data Science at Universidad Austral (2022). His experience is primarily focused on research in crop physiology and genetic improvement of extensive crops, particularly maize, applied to production systems, with scientific works published in high-impact indexed journals. He has participated as a speaker in national and international conferences, including the International Plant Physiology Meeting (Argentina, 2023) and the ASA-CSSA-SSA Meeting (United States, 2024). Additionally, he has university teaching experience as a Senior Teaching Assistant in the Plant Production Department at the University of Buenos Aires. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Florida, also collaborating on joint projects (CERCA, IoT4Ag) with other U.S. universities.
