Biography

Agricultural Engineer with an MSc in Agricultural Sciences with an emphasis on Animal Production. He has experience managing integrated livestock production systems for dairy cattle in the high tropics, as well as meat and dual-purpose systems in the North-East and Magdalena Medio regions of Antioquia. Additionally, he has expertise in evaluating new forage species of grasses and legumes for animal feeding and developing sustainable livestock systems. One of his most notable contributions was assisting in the development and registration of a technological offering for the Altoandina forage oat variety. He is also interested in working with the native Sampedreño pig breed to develop sustainable systems based on forage resources.
