Biography

Agricultural engineer with a master's degree in Agronomic Sciences. Specialization in Soil Science from the University of Córdoba in Colombia. With over 10 years of experience leading research projects related to soil management and conservation, he has assessed ecosystem services in various agricultural production systems, such as silvopastoral, agroforestry, forestry, and agricultural systems. Additionally, his team has conducted research on strategies for mitigating and quantifying greenhouse gases (GHG) in livestock production systems. Currently, he works as a senior researcher affiliated with the Permanent Crops Network at the Turipaná Research Center (C.I.), part of the Colombian Agricultural Research Corporation, Agrosavia.
